The Westside Youth Group has many opportunities to study God’s word and grow into a deeper relationship with Christ. We strive to provide a place that is comfortable for students to come and enjoy clean Christian company. Below are some of the things we have going on at this moment.
On Wednesday nights we have SWIFT. We meet and hang out having a good time. We have a short Bible study gleaning God's Truths for us from His Word. We would love to have you. We meet at 6:30 until about 7:30 Wednesday evenings.
SUNDAY NIGHT DISCIPLESHIP
On Sunday nights we are about to start a new study. We begin at 6:00pm and hang out, fellowship and play games. We are studying the Early Church and what a God centered church should look like and how to apply the actions of the Early Church to our lives, youth group, and church as a whole. It is a great time, we would love to see you there.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Each Sunday morning at 9:45 we have a small group Bible study. We have just finished our journey through the Bible in two years and will be starting another similar structured study. We watch an interesting, thought provoking short video and then read the Scripture after which we discuss the Biblical Truth that is in that Scripture.
James Kliewer has served as youth minister at Westside Baptist Church for 2 and a half years. He is also a student at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and will be graduating in December. Originally from Southwest Oklahoma, God called him to this area to minister to the youth of the Black Hills. During the summer of 2007 James served as a North American Mission Board Summer Missionary at Westside Baptist Church. Since then he has served as youth minister during the summer and school year while working and going to school.
